My Crazy World

As some of you may know I actually have quite a few sites and blogs, a few of which have stagnated over the last few years.  While some I dropped because of lack of demand, a few of my better ideas have been hindered by a bad choice in web hosts. 

Two weeks ago, I was working on SociallyDistressed and started to come up with ideas that I wasn’t able to implement on Blogger.  I started looking at other blog platforms, and eventually discovered that at least for right now, all of my sites would be better off as WordPress blogs.  Out of that spawned all of this.  Since this site was one that I had wasted away I decided to start with it as a kind of sandbox for my move.

I finally went ahead and purchased the hosting that I will need today.  I pointed this domain, installed WordPress, found a template I liked and started was up and running in no time at all.  I must say, I’m very impressed.  I’ve installed and played with quite a few templates, and have had no problems.  Now I really can’t wait for the weekend.  I have to keep up with my plurk habit, and write a few posts, but I’m also going to try to get templates done for theessenceofeverything.com and bandsthatrule.com, get sociallydistressed all ported and mapped up, and bring over my programming and rant blogs from blogger.
