Tonight was a beautiful night, so Brooke and I decided to eat dinner over at the park. While we were eating she started a conversation about some people believing some pretty stupid baseless things. Of course in our normal, scatter brained fashion this led to a number of discussions as we finished our dinner and took a walk around the park, but ultimately led to a conversation about the rapidly declining trustworthiness of the media. This led me to issuing this challenge.
If you believe you can believe what you hear on news, I dare you pick two or three semi-controversial stories you hear over the next week, and spend 30 minutes fact checking each one. If after a week, you still don’t believe what you’ve found, go ahead and keep doing it until you do.
