Today I discovered one hundred push ups, a site dedicated to getting people to complete the challenge of being able to do 100 pushups consecutively. On seeing this challenge, I had to join in. I’ve been trying to get into better shape for quite a while, and this may be just the motivation I need.
I started today with the test initial test and managed to do 13 pushups. I probably could have done more, but I already knew that this put me into the 10+ pushup group. I rested for about half an hour and began on week one day one completing 5 sets of pushups (10, 10, 8, 6, at least 7) on the fifth set I went all out and managed to do 15.
Before I started, I took a picture of myself as I look now, but I haven’t decided whether I want to share
that or not. I will however take at least 1 picture a week through the entire challenge. Perhaps at some point, I’ll decide to post them between now and the completion of the challenge.
If you’re out of shape, I highly encourage you to join in. I can’t think of a better way to spend 30 minutes a week!
